- Our Health Guarantee

With the purchase of every cavapoo puppy from Divine Cavapoos comes a one-year health warranty. Within five working days after the purchase, you must take your new puppy for an examination to a qualified veterinarian. If the vet determines that your dog is clinically ill or has passed dead within five days of adoption due to a sickness or injury that was most likely contracted on or before the date of adoption and delivery, you have the following options:

Return the dog for a complete refund.
Return the dog for a replacement dog of equal value.
Retain the dog and receive reimbursement for reasonable veterinary fees, not exceeding the purchase price.

These choices are not available if the seller, who has presented a veterinarian-issued health certificate, discloses in writing at the time of sale the health condition for which the purchaser subsequently requests the return of the dog.

You have the same choice as described above if, within 30 days of purchase, a licensed veterinarian determines that your dog has a congenital or hereditary problem that negatively impacts the animal’s health or that your dog passed away as a result of a congenital or hereditary defect. Within two days following the veterinarian’s certification of your dog’s illness, you must give the seller notice of the veterinarian’s name, address, and phone number. Rights will be lost if the seller is not notified within two business days. Puppy sales are governed by a variety of state-specific rules, so be sure to familiarise yourself with them before buying your pet.

If, within 30 days of purchase, a licensed veterinarian finds that your dog has a congenital or genetic issue that adversely affects the animal’s health or that your dog died as a result of a congenital or hereditary flaw, you have the same options as those outlined above. You must notify the seller of the veterinarian’s name, practice location, and contact information within two days of the vet certifying your dog’s sickness. If the seller is not contacted within two business days, rights will be forfeited. Before purchasing your pet, take sure to familiarise yourself with the state-specific regulations that apply to puppy sales.

Extended Genetic Health Guarantees (when offered)

An additional guarantee specifically covering any disease or illness that is proven to be of a genetic origin through proper veterinary examination and testing.

These guarantees do not cover normal veterinary costs incurred while providing general care for the puppy.

Proper documentation must be provided to the breeder before any compensation is paid.

The veterinarian will be visited right away with the puppy. You should make sure he or she is healthy and doesn’t require veterinary care. We ask that the puppy’s initial visit take place no later than five days after delivery. This is frequently done to make sure that there haven’t been any shipping-related issues and to make sure your doctor is familiar with your puppy in case of an emergency.
Once a puppy has left our care, we are not responsible for their exposure to diseases. You should be cautious about both the location and people handling your puppy. The puppy shouldn’t be exposed to regions where a high level of exposure to diseases is possible or to previously infected disease areas. Consider him or her to be a newborn baby.
Within five days of delivery, your puppy must be examined by the veterinarian of your choosing at your expense in order for the guarantee to be valid. The results of this checkup should confirm that your dog was healthy when it arrived. The puppy should be taken to the veterinarian right away if it exhibits any symptoms of the disease.
If your puppy was sent, it has undergone a vet examination and been given a health certificate. Before being given to you, he or she had at least one round of shots and frequently many rounds. He has also been de-wormed, but this does not guarantee that he is free from worms. Young animals are particularly susceptible to worms since they are exposed whenever they touch the ground, and de-worming is a continuous process that must be performed once the puppy is in your care. You will also need to give your puppy booster shots. You must immediately administer vaccinations and deworming.
Bring the breeder a vet-signed statement of the defect if the puppy has a congenital or hereditary defect that is a life-threatening condition. The dog will be replaced as quickly as possible with another puppy of comparable value. Before a new puppy is frequently provided, the original dog must be given back.
Any vet expenses the buyer may have for the purchased puppy are not the breeder’s responsibility.
If the puppy is sold to a third party and standard safety precautions aren’t taken, this guarantee is void.
There is always a chance that stress will cause the puppy’s blood sugar to drop to unsafe levels, especially with smaller breeds. The new owner must remember to keep a close eye on the puppy’s sugar levels and to take appropriate measures if this problem does arise. Breeders are not responsible for problems that arise as a result of neglect of this condition, thus it is the responsibility of the new owner to make sure that it doesn’t damage the puppy.
The puppy’s previous medical history has been disclosed to and accepted by the new owner. When necessary, the new owner is responsible for seeking veterinarian guidance and for paying for those services. The buyer is solely responsible for the puppy’s care and all associated medical costs as soon as it leaves the breeder’s care. The breeder has the right to seek and order an autopsy on the dog at the buyer’s expense if the puppy passes away for whatever reason. The breeder will replace the dog if it is determined that the death was caused by the breeder as a result of original lab results from a qualified veterinarian.
If a puppy needs to be replaced, the breeder will give you a healthy puppy of comparable quality as soon as the new puppy is available. The shipping costs for both the second puppy to be transported to the new owner and the first puppy to be returned to the breeder will be covered by the new owner. The health guarantee is void if the buyer decides not to take a replacement puppy.
To ensure the health of our puppies, we collaborate closely with our veterinarians. All of the AKC-registered vaccinations and dewormings that are listed on our shot records must be given to them. The breeder administers our vaccinations as part of the vaccination schedule suggested by the veterinarian. We’ll only list the vaccinations your puppy has received. Please keep in mind that they must have received these vaccinations and continue to give them immunizations as directed by your veterinarian. Inadequate vaccines and disregarding recommended immunizations can both be detrimental to your puppy’s health.
Before they depart, our puppies will get a health certificate from a qualified veterinarian and can undergo a vet exam. While we make every effort to ensure the health of our puppies, the following conditions are not covered by our health guarantee: kennel cough, coccidia, diarrhea, collapsed trachea, giardia, open fontanel, or parasites.
